Retired environments / Ground engineering

Ground.
Returned.

We dismantle retired built environments, recover materials with a next use, and prepare selected ground for grassland, wetland and time.

01 — ENGINEERING METHODSCAPEConceptual engineering illustration showing equipment and ground scale; separate from the dated Reserve 9 record.

Defined work. Continuing responsibility.

A place is more than
what can be removed.

The work begins with a boundary and a record. What is dismantled, where material goes, which watercourse stays, who maintains a retained shell: every choice needs its own account.

1,432

Distinct town locations with at least one closed rewilding work package.

A company project-register count, without implying whole-town clearance or independent ecological certification. The current total is unknown.

FORMER EAST WORKSHOP DISTRICT / 2139—2149

One district.
A different ground.

Retired workshop dismantling, component sorting and selective regrading. The river, three brick shells and a maintenance corridor remain.

Select a work stage to read its method layer. Intermediate stages are not separately dated here; the schematic is neither a species census nor live progress.

Full record & reserve-land policy

Know what stays.

Survey the boundary, structures and objects before the first cut. An unresolved ownership record places the affected object on hold.

Boundary survey / object record / retained assets

Take the structure apart in order.

Isolate services, confirm load paths and recover reusable components before bulk removal. Unexpected movement stops the work face.

Isolation check / lift sequence / stop criteria

A destination completes the route.

Separate reuse, recycling and disposal streams. A receiving record and acceptance complete a material route; a sorted pile does not.

Material stream / recipient / acceptance

Let water and ground set the terms.

Retain the river and three shells; treat selected ground for grassland and wetland establishment. Observation and maintenance continue after dismantling closes.

Ground treatment / drainage / continuing inspection

From the first record to continuing care

01

Archive, then dismantle

Boundary, objects, structure and hold criteria form an executable sequence.

02

Materials with a destination

Acceptance closes a recovery route. Ecological results need their own observations.

03

Safety includes a stop

Unexpected movement, unidentified services or a boundary mismatch place the affected work on hold.
